Alex's Coupons and Onlineshoes.com Donate 20% of Orders to Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation

Update 7/14/06: Well the final numbers are finally in and we raised $500 for Starlight Starbright with this promotion! I'm going to donate another $500 from Alex's Coupons to make it an even $1000. Thanks again to everyone who helped out! -- Todd

P.S. I'm negotiating with an online Music Store to do a similar promotion to benefit another charity, so hopefully I'll have some good news to post here soon! 8-)

I am very happy to announce that Alex's Coupons has partnered with Onlineshoes.com to raise money for Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of seriously ill children and their families!

From now until June 30th, whenever you make a purchase at Onlineshoes.com through this special link, 20% of the total price of your order will be donated to Starlight Starbright. Alex's Coupons is donating our full commission of 10% to Starlight Starbright and Onlineshoes.com is matching that donation! This is our first joint promotion with one of our merchants and hopefully if it's successful it will lead to many future promotions to raise money for the charities that we support.

As many of you know Alex's Coupons donated $2000 to Starlight Starbright back in March. I'm hoping that this promotion will raise even more money for this incredible organization. Click here to read more about Starlight Starbright and find out why the work they're doing is so important.

About me

  • I'm Todd Martini
  • From Gig Harbor, Washington, United States
  • I own Alex's Coupons, which offers the latest deals and coupons to consumers, while educating them about Childhood Cancer. I started Alex's Coupons back in 2001 to help raise money for my daughter Alex's treatment for Leukemia. Alex was diagnosed at the age of 10 months and underwent 2 Cord Blood Transplants, multiple rounds of chemo, total body irradiation, experimental treatments, etc. Alex is now 3 1/2 years post 2nd Transplant and is doing quite well. Now that Alex is off treatment I've started donating part of the profits from Alex's Coupons to Cancer related charities. Click here to read more about Alex and the rest of our family or view our Evening Magazine story. that aired earlier this year. There was one major error in the story. We do not make $900k each month, as stated at the end of the story. We've generated up to $900k in sales in a single month (12/05), but we're only paid only a small percentage of that amount as commission.
